Paul, Jackie and staff offer you a warm welcome at the Chafford Arms.
We have 2 bars,a village bar with a darts board and an extremely enthusiastic darts team which play on Mondays and Wednesdays during the winter months. The home of Fordcombe Cricket Club can be found in the village bar with plenty of photographs past and present adorning the walls. Golf is another great pastime here with many good golf courses close by.
The lounge bar and restaurant boasts sofas for that cosy drink and seating for 40 diners.
The Chafford has log fires galore to keep you warm in the winter and a large garden with seating for approximately 100 giving you stunning views across the weald.
Well behaved dogs and children are welcome in the village bar and extensive gardens.
Our real ales are Larkin’s (brewed locally at Chiddingstone) and Harvey’s also local at Lewes. We have a third real ale which we change every couple of months or so. We are very proud to have achieved the Cask Marque award.
We have folk evenings every 4th Sunday evening from 8.30pm which anyone can come to, either to partake or spectate. These evenings can cause great amusement !
